Web enabling Medical Records Department and its deployment on the hospital's intranet.

The Solution
A web based application successfully deployed, Axim System Inc. made the functional specs and architecture of the application and Cybersoft did the offshore development.

Better management of critical patient situations as physician can access this application from anywhere. Automated workflow and reduced load on physicians as they can by using simple point-and-click commands can create and process medical reports online; review, re-work, and sign, transcribed notes; authorize alternate signers; and get instant access to all ``Draft" pre-signed notes.

Technologies Used
The application was developed in Cold Fusion and Java Script and is independent of back end database. Any ODBC compliant database could be selected for the back end. Currently the application is running on Microsoft Windows NT with MS SQL as the back end database.
