Multi purpose web based reporting engine for top management

This application is developed for a client in the insurance sector in partnership with Axim System Inc. The client is one of the leading insurance company of the USA.

The Task
To facilitate the company executives with powerful management reporting and decision support capabilities to monitor the performance of their business units and line of business whenever and wherever they require.

The Solution
Web based Management Reporting Engine (MRE) was developed. The functional architecture was developed by Axim System Inc. and the development was done by Cybersoft.

This application facilitates the executives in searching, arranging and viewing the data as

	they can drill down in many dimensions, slicing and dicing the data by product lines, regions and sales territories, customer types, and other fields in the database. Arrange the data with different sorting options View the data in graphs/charts and can export into Excel and Word.

Technologies Used
The application was developed in C and JavaScript and is independent of back end database. Any ODBC compliant database could be selected for the back end. Currently the application is running on Microsoft Windows NT with Oracle as the back end database.
